Warning against the site IslamQA

*There is a more updated version here:

So this site for some reason is very popular amongst Muslims. Mostly its because these Muslims are from third world countries where women are expected to be at home and cook for their husbands, and its not uncommon for them to get a punch or two. This site is based in Saudi Arabia and while most of their fatwas on fasting and prayer are fine, there's quite a few fatwas that aren't.

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saing: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: " Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars."

(NOTE: IslamWeb is an affiliate of IslamQA)

(ANOTHER NOTE: NOT ALL OF THEIR MATERIAL IS LIKE THE BELOW. I've even submitted a question and I was pretty pleased with the answer).

Let's begin analyzing.

They called a believing Muslim a kaffir:

They say its haraam to live in a non-Muslim country:

So all the Muslim academics, Imam's and Mufti's are sinning? Hey wasn't Arabia at one time a non-Muslim country? At the time women were very promiscucous, yeah like those Las Vegas show girls, a time where alcohol was openly drunk and sex was openly done. The Muslims at the time overcame all this and succeeded. So why is it a problem to live in a non-Muslim country today? If it wasn't for us then conversions to Islam wouldn't occur, and we'd all be living in our dangerous tribal countries which don't follow Islam anyways.

They have said its haraam to take Christians and Jews as friends, based on verse 5:51, but they have mistranslated it. Actual explanation is presented by the following scholarly sources AFTER the Islam QA link:
(They also said one who has non-Muslim friends is just like them (i.e a kaffir)

They say its haraam for women to drive because it'll cause sexual immorality:

If you keep reading that it later on says that women driving is comparable to drinking and gambling.
They say a woman should stay at home because they wrongly quote a verse where it tells the Prophet's wives to stay at home:

But even the Prophet's wives were active in the workforce, army and politics. Nonetheless the Prophet's wives were given an extra layer of protection, and did not relate to other Muslim women at the time. The Quran itself says the Prophet's wives aren't like other women:
O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah , then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech.(33:32)
And also gender roles for women don't even appear in the Quran or Hadith. See the following:
Now look at what they wrote on polygamy:
Look at how stupidly they answser the question. In Islam polygamy IS NOT A RIGHT, it is a condition with restrictions. The polygamy verses spoke about ORPHANS, so it is CLEAR this polygamy is not for everyone. The Quran itself says to MARRY ONLY ONE.
I forwarded this question to (OnIslam is from the creators of Islamonline, a site which is affiliated with Al Azhar, the world's highest and oldest Islamic authority). They refute Islam QA on this and put the hadith back in context (which Islam QA took out of it's original meaning)
They say that it is fobidden for women to visit graves based on the hadith that the Prophet cursed that woman who visited graves:
Now NUMEROUS scholars have corrected this, saying it's perfectly allowed for women to visit the grave sites. See the following:
They say women who do not wear hijab should be divorced:
While I admit hijab is mandatory upon all Muslim women, this is no reason for divorce.
They say it was haraam for a boy to get to know a girl on two seperate occassions:
The site Sunnipath, another popular and reliable site sheds light on male-female interaction  as well as on lowering the gaze:
Onislam also sheds light on interaction:
They quote this hadith all the time against women: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “I have not left behind me any fitnah that is more harmful to men than women.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4808; Muslim, 2704
They say men are smarter than women (you really don't expect this from a sheikh), for trying to explain why two women are needed to testify. The real reasons are that women at the time were not often involved in financial dealings and when women become pregnant or go through menses stuff can happen which might affect their testimony in negative ways. There's fatwas on this blog dealing with the issue of a woman's testimony.

NUMEROUS times they say women are to obey husbands, like here:
They do not know what this obedience thing means. It is explained by the following links:

Not allowed for women to act in theatre, even if she wears hijab:

Look how stupid this one is:

"A woman may compensate for her weaknesses by striving hard, and surpass men when they are negligent. Hence we find that in some colleges, female students surpass male students because of their greater efforts and their keenness to succeed when many of the male students are negligent and are not eager to learn."

So the only way women can be more intellectual than men is if men don't try? BULLSHIT.

Movies are okay to watch as long as there's no women:

Haraam for women to ride horses, and also her face is a source of temptation:

Those who say women should tak part in politics are "weak, defeated and dazzled."'s%20testimony

BUT Aisha, our beloved mother in Islam, was involved in politics:

Not a correct way to guide a non-Muslim to Islam if you're going to attack their religious texts:
While most of their stuff is fine, such things aren't. Oh and I only quoted from what I stumbled upon, which means there can be a lot more.
Many of their things are based in difference of opinion and interpretation (for example they say apostates should be killed, while other (several very notable) scholars say they shouldn't). I'm NOT trying to favour one opinion over another, I'm pointing out flaws in their site.

  1. Your a retard. IslamQA is the best website on the internet in my opinion. Only people who want to follow there whims will say what you are saying about them. "They say its haraam to live in non-muslim countries" Really? I think the Prophet said that like 1,400 years ago too in multiple hadiths. "they called a believing muslim a kaafir" Seriously? Even ignorance has its limits....The prophet said in many hadith whoever does not pray, then he is a kaafir. May Allaah guide and save the muslims from idiots like you. Ameen.

    1. You're kidding? I guess I could say the same to you. You believe IslamQA to follow YOUR whims and desires.

The whole of the Universe belongs to Allah, there is no restrictions on where you can and cannot live. Plus, most "Muslim Majority" countries do not even follow Islamic laws correctly so by you're standards they're borderlining "kufr" too. Thus there are no "Islamic countries"

As for the prayers, you have no right determining who is and isn't a Muslim. Yes actions speak louder than words but how would you know if the person were intending to correct their deen? Rather than slamming the "kaafir" label so easily how about you (along with IslamQA) exercise some patients and learn of the individuals circumstances??

"Save Muslims from "idiots" like you"..... You have no shame do you? Why call a fellow an idiot? If you disagree bring yout points across like a decent human being.

    2. I have no idea what the heck you're talking about. You're accusing me of all these things I never said.

    3. Although, this is very late...I just want to say...I still think the person who made this blog and the two people who responded above are ignorant modernists who still follow their whims and desires. Let me guess who you both probably listen to? Yasir Qadhi? Nouman Ali Khan? Hamza Yusuf? Hamza tzotris? Suhaib Webb? And other modernists and deviants.... It amazes me how when it comes to Islam...everyone becomes a shaykh automatically and apparently EVERYONE has an opinion... for example...we have a stupid ignorant modernist here who is supposedly "warning people from IslamQA" as if he is in any position to say or do that...this stupid idiot probably doesn't even know meaning of fatiha, juzz amma, or the pillars of emaan, or how to pray like the prophet....and he starts refuting SCHOLARS who spent their entire lives for the sake of Allaah and learning about His religion. With regards to "Islamqa" in particular...WAllaahi I have been reading fatawas from their website for over 10 years now and till this date...I have yet to find a SINGLE fatwa of theirs, that is incorrect....know you place ignorant modernistic idiots!

    4. what is he writing???? where he takes all answers? from calling them followers of azhar"the oldest and most respected" school???
now mecca and madina schoolsare new and azhar is the oldest?what a crap!!! macca and madina was and will be the most trusted placeses of knowlage according to hadith that meaning: islam will be surrounded to macca and madina as snake surrounded to its nest hole close to the last its obviose.also he cant compare time of begining of islam and now the begining of revelation it was allowed to live in kafir lands and there was no choice, and now a days you have choice.and if you will copare everything to that days then you have to make alcohol and gambling and many other thing halal first and then make them harom as it was in time of sahaba.but its not that way .thats why we need schoolars to seperate for us what is rite and what is wrong. wrong weared article!!!

    5. So are u saying we those muslims living in africa countries especially Africans countries where christians are more than 70% will go to hell. Most of the fatwas are misguided or misinterpreted. Saudi Arabia always seek help from usa to fight against terrorist. Does it mean they are kaffirs.

    6. Assalamu aleikum warahmatullah wabarakatu muslimeens

(((The second condition is that he should be able to practise his religion openly, so that he can observe the rituals of Islam with no impediment. So he will not be prevented from establishing regular prayer, and praying Jumu’ah and offering prayers in congregation if there are others there with whom he can pray in congregation and pray Jumu’ah; and he will not be prevented from paying zakaah, fasting, performing Hajj and doing other rituals of Islam. If he will not be able to do that then it is not permissible to stay there because it becomes obligatory to migrate (hijrah) in that case.)))

    7. I think the people confused and yelling about islamqa being a great site are not bothering to click the links and are confusing (a legitimate and excellent resource) and (run by extremists, favoured by terrorist-sympathizers, no wonder, right?).

Muhammad Al-Munajjid has said some amazingly antisemitic things and has some really... bizarre beliefs. Like, he thinks Mickey Mouse is evil because cartoon dogs, mice, and pigs are apparently glorifying Islamically reviled animals. (... no one is telling you to eat them, though, if you form an emotional bond with something, you're /less/ likely to eat it...)

He also showed a lack of awareness, saying a woman must consent to her husband's advances and then got upset MEMRI called it "rape of wives." ... coercing someone, making them feel like they HAVE to say yes and 'consent' isn't real consent. That's like telling someone you HAVE to give me a gift, you MUST give it to me, or you're a bad, sinful person, no matter what excuses you might have-- that's not a "gift," that's extortion!

  2. Salaam Alaykum Maria, I hope you are in the best of health.

I don't follow my own "whims". And to be honest I don't think you even read all the so called "fatwas" I posted about Islam QA. This is a common accusation thrown at those who don't want to follow Islam QA.

Um no, the Prophet, peace be upon him, NEVER said its haraam to live in a non-Muslim country. Mecca and Medina at one point were dominated by non-Muslims. Tell me, are all the scholars and Imaams sinning for living in the West?

Um no, the Prophet, peace be upon him, NEVER said in ANY HADITH, that one who does not pray is a kaffir. Anyone, who claims to be a Muslim, is a MUSLIM.

Did you read other fatwas they post, more specifically about women? is actually the most popular site for fatwas. And it has credibility, it's run by Al Azher.

    1. This comment has been removed by the author.

    2. I'm by no means a scholar but I am learning a lot about Islam each day. Your statement: "Um no, the Prophet, peace be upon him, NEVER said in ANY HADITH, that one who does not pray is a kaffir. Anyone, who claims to be a Muslim, is a MUSLIM."

This is when you know a person like you has no credibility and thus a person like who says this should not be listened to at all. Do not attempt to refute sincere scholars when you have no knowledge of the importance of prayer. Prayer is one of the 5 pillars of islam. Islam is the surface level faith which precede eman(inner faith). When you enter islam, you must abide by the 5 pillars of islam, as it is the commandment of Allah Azzawajal, otherwise you are beyond the pale of islam and are not a muslim.

Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alayhi Wassalam said, according to a hadith in saheeh Muslim.
"Between a man and shirk and kufr there stands his neglect of the prayer.”

Those who completely do not pray and self-proclaim to be muslims are not muslims at all. This is because prayer is part of the surface level faith: Islam. You are able to see someone pray, unlike seeing the true faith which is eman. If one who does not pray at all, how can he/she say I'm a muslim? Honestly, answer me this.

Thus, your entire attack on islamqa is discredited.

    3. However, if someone misses prayer because of laziness (delaying prayer until end of its time), without an excuse (work that gets in the way of prayer) and because of these reasons he/she misses a prayer or two of a day while not denying that prayer is obligatory in Islam is still a muslim. However the moment he/she denies that prayer is obligatory for a muslim (denies that prayer is a pillar of islam), that's when he/she has entered into major kufr and is thus a complete kafir.

What you have said to me is that you did not know of the sunnan of Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alayhi Wassalam. You also think one who claims to be a muslim is a muslim which is not true. Any kafir can easily say he/she is a muslim while he/she has never prayed (thus never entered Islam by saying the shahadah) and you will just believe that person? SMH

  3. IslamQA is the best website ever.
Except for those who are westernized and brain washed Muslims may Allah give them guidance.
Islam is based on Allah's rule. Read the website again they give u every answer with a clear proofs. Unless u don't want to understand it.
May Allah guide us all. And protect us from those who misguide people from their ignorance. Ameen

    1. I would expect an Islam QA worshipper to say such haram things.
I am not weesternized or brain washed, it is YOU who is brainwashed by satan.

May Allah guide and protect us from people like you ameen.

    2. This comment has been removed by the author.

    3. Aameen for the dua by ibn Yusuf.

      Question to brother Ali
What authority do you have to call Al-Munajjid (may Allah preserve him and keep him on right path)a deviant. What is your qualification and expertise in Islamic studies. Even if you are trained in Islamic studies it will still not give you the moral authority to attack him in a way that he cannot defend himself.

May Allah swt help us and guide us all.

  4. Just say that you don't want to agree to their 'fatwas' and don't want to 'adopt' to their right practices! IslamQA has always posted enough evidences and porofs to support their points for your kind of information. I would recommend YOU to read them carefully instead. If someone says that a person who does NOT pray is NOT a kaafir, then verily, he has gone astray beyond limits. You seriously have no knowledge of the religion then, for one of the most famous hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) states, "Between a man and Kufr, is the abandonment of Salah" (Bukhari)

    1. LOL so I guess I should agree with them on their hatred of women as well, huh?

    2. Jasir ፦ i am sure u have at least missed sallah for one time in your life time !
Are you a kafir now ?

      Ask your own self !

  5. Thank you so much for writing this, jazak Allah(swt) khair :) Ignore the hateful comments. Islamqa seemed to be distorting Islam, so I looked up its reliability and came upon your post.. This explains the suspicious answers I've read. They might have some good answers, but they also have a lot of flawed/invalidated answers. Once again, jazak Allah(swt) khair, ignore the hateful comments, you are only spreading the truth and in sha' Allah I will help with that.

    1. This comment has been removed by the author.

  6. Thanks a lot for this article, very useful, may God reward you. I had no idea they said it's forbidden to drive for a woman. They also forbid to study if there are men in the university and say niqab is obligatory.

But you are wrong about the polygamy. I used to think that way but discovered I was mistaken. Before Islam, men used to marry orphan girls (very young) just to get the inheritance. So the verse came and say "don't marry those orphan girls, marry 2,3 4 women as you wish" and then it recommands to have only one for the reason you must know. Yusuf Estes explains this in one of his videos, I don't remember the title but it is on Youtube. May God forgive me if I am wrong.

  7. Ya he has some problems and these are real. The problem is not him (he made mistakes as any scholar) but googlers have problem to take everything google gave them.

He said the arabs are best in intelligence and the Jews are next rhen the rest nation.

Title of "Fatawa" (racism) "the vertue of the arabs"

In the following distorted tale he support the above link i gave.

I still have no problem but my problem is that according to him i am a devil if i doubt that ! Because the devil say i am better than adam (pbuh).

He also said islam is not a religion of peace and this contradicted with the quran since Allah described himself as "Sallam".

He tried to explain the word peace (which is above his level) saying that "islam is peace in a sense that you fought disbelievers (non muslims;bracket mine) and they will submit to islam then that is peace.

We can go to quote many garbage & self contradictory "fatawas" of him but unnecessary!

Do this ; pray 5 times a day properly stay a way from any pice of shit groups.

    1. By the way you too made some mistakes over there ... while attacking him :)

  8. So if we find some Fatawa from Imam Malik that are not correct, does that mean that we leave everything he did?

  9. May Allah guide us to the truth and give us the strength to act upon it, whether the consequences of doing so would be in favor of our desires or against them.

May Allah free us from the conformity of the masses of the modern world, and make our hearts firm upon the path of Rasul Allah (saas).

To be fair, IslamQA can sometimes lack touch in its delivery, and can miss the finer nuances that the various questioners are trying to convey (possibly due to some language and cultural barriers).

With that said, I have never seen a single fatwa on IslamQA that didnt provide sufficient daleel (evidences) directly from the book of Allah and the sunnah of Nabi (saas). I have never felt that their fatwah committee was pushing a particular ideology, unless our being part of Ahl Sunnah wa Al Jama' is considered an "ideology".

The frankness of its answers reflects the true spirit of Islam: truthfulness and simplicity. The abundance of content reflects it's nonsectarian roots, which are the roots of the correct Jama', the majority of Muslims.

I think the white elephant in the room here is the fact that us as English speakers are affected by Western a.k.a. Kafir (or at least majority Kafir) culture by default. This unfortunately affects the way we understand everything, especially our religion which is under attack by mainstream media, academics, politicians, entertainment...everything global. Western (English speaking) Imams recognize this, and unfortunately, due to their desire for popularity and being accepted by the masses, many of them will water down the true Message in an effort to win popular appeal...and this is wrong.

Your liberal sensitivities should not affect your religious values and certainly not your religious rulings.
It is your religion, Islam, and all that is implied in the two shahaadahs that you took when you entered Islam (or that which you were raised upon), that should curb and uproot your liberal sensibilities, or any other sensibilities/biases for that matter.

It is not part of intellect to use fancy, sophisticated words in order to illustrate your superiority. Words should be used to distinguish truth from falsehood. True intellect belongs to the one who submits to whatever Allah and His Messenger have asked, and true superiority is according to ones piety. IslamQA attracts these types; people who don't want to be treated like babies and munaafiqs, people who accept the implications of their shaadah, people who want the truth because they are prepared to follow it.

What makes this article foolish is not the fact that you disagree with some of the Fataawah and viewpoints of IslamQA, but what does make this article foolish is that in your attempt to distinguish true Islam you have attacked a source of goodness and truth, have made unfair and exaggerated criticisms, have preferred personal opinion to textual evidences, and have sought to divide Muslims according to hot-button issues. I suggest you fear Allah when you speak and when you post things, and that when dealing with Muslims (especially ones who have dedicated their life to knowledge) you give credit where credit is due. Do not draw lines between Muslims and Muslims, only between Muslims and Non-Muslims, since Allah has commanded those lines to be drawn, and He SWT has forbidden splitting from the Jamaa'.

    Jazakum Allahu Khairun

  10. For all of you ignorant Jaahils who is refuting their deviant, brainwashed opinion that Muslims can live in a non-Muslim country and that Saudi Arabia was once a non-Muslim country, here! We are allowed to live in a non-Muslim country under certain CONDITIONS ONLY! And one of them includes if you are inviting masses of people to Islam and spreading the religion of Allah. Isn't that what the Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) did?! And didn't he succeed in doing so? Now aren't the majority in KSA muslims?

  11. Actually, I don't want to say anything about this article but I couldn't afford not to.

The writer, I believe its a sickness, I mean the sickness mentioned in Qur'an. Doubt and so on. I have been reading through islamqa and one thing I love them for is that they give evidence from Qur'an, Hadeeth and from the guided scholars. I can say that you are not in position to proof islamqa wrong except if you can provide evidence from Qur'an and Hadeeth.

    May Allah foegive us all.

  12. I believe that Islamqa is the best site! Finito

  13. I dont agree with you and dont try to divide the ummah..
    Islamqa is the best

  14. I dont agree with you and dont try to divide the ummah..
    Islamqa is the best

  15. Sooooo Islamqa is still around and going strong while the links provided as so-called "refutatiion" are all gone! =)

The truth remains while falsehood disappears! Allaahu Akbar!

  16. No wonder IslamQa is a Wahabi website and Wahabism is all about spreading terrorism, degrading women, declaring other Muslims as Kafirs, and spreading rigidity.

All terrorist groups like ISIS, AL QAEEDA, JANDULLAH, BOKO HARAM, AL SHIBAAB, and others belong to Wahabi cult.

Keep up the good work admin. You have hit Islamqa hard.

  17. This article will be such a heavy burden for you to carry OP and I highly recommend that you take it down or replace it. Last week we had a discussion regarding an issue and an answer sourced from IslamQA was provided and subhanAllah the number of people that said that islamQA is a doubtful source, subhanAllah; no evidence for this claim at all whilst islamQA provides evidence from the Quran and the Prophet PBUH. How can you disagree with Allah, subhanAllah! It is not for us to have firm opinions about something before we know what Allah wishes for us to have; if true evidence provided then who are we to disagree? what are we? How can we have a problem with what Allah tells us? The number of people you have influenced will be a heavy load for you, how many people may have read this and ignore sound islamic advice, fear Allah!

For those stuck on the 'not praying makes you a kafir'; here is the fall of those that may even pray let alone do not pray: 'And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little, Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to the believers nor to the disbelievers. And whoever Allah leaves astray - never will you find for him a way.' (Quran 4:142-143). And if you deny the words of Allah as proof, then I dissociate myself from you and what you believe.

May Allah make us and our families of those that pray 5 times a day, and protect us from the whispers of shaytaan who is a clear enemy to us all, wishing to place doubt in our hearts and disagreements between our brothers and sisters. May Allah protect us from destroying ourselves and our akhira and may He guide us in a beautiful way, Ameen.

    1. subhan Allah exactly my point....may Allah guide us on the right path...Ameen

  18. Not just IslamQA but anything relalted to Najdi/Wahabis is cursed. There is no 2nd opinion that Wahabis are devoid of Intellect. Even a 4 years old has better understanding than the biggest scholar of a Wahabi Cult.
All those who are supporting IslamQA are wahabis or wanna be wahabis. They cannot think straight. Whatever feeds their ego they will like it. I spoke to many wahabis who say we are not suppose to use our Aql otherwise we will be misguided. If you think I'm exaggerating then ask a wahabi and see for yourself.
If people have eyes to see then they will see that the Wahabism Cult is on the rise and it will rise till the time of dajjal. They are the supporters of dajjal working for his arrival (I cant say they are doing this knowingly or unknowingly) Wake up guys and see how the world is being re-shaped for the New World Order of Dajjal and what role did these wahabi terrorists played in all this change. Challenge your intellect and think of everything in accordance to the prophecies related to time period after 14th century Hijri and see the complete picture.

  19. Seriously my brother this article is going to be such a burden for you on the day of are going after a whole panel of Ulemas and scholars who have spent their entire life studying Quran and Sunnah...they always give complete reference of Quran and Sunnah whenever they are providing a fatwa...its completely okay if you cannot adopt all of it because you are not submissive enough...but you have no right to point fingers like this...Islam means submission and Allah says in the Quran "O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy" (2:208) So follow Islam completely rather than looking for Heela to say its Okay if you do not pray..its the most important pillar of Islam and theres a saheeh hadith stating that Salah is what differentiates us (Muslims) from Kuffar....looking for heela to say its okay to go live in a non-muslim country where you obviously dont have the level of Eeman where you invite others to Islam but there is a high chance that you might fall into sins...etc etc....may Allah guide us my brother and protect us from hell fire....Ameen

  20. islam qa is Wahabi Site . May allah protect us

  21. Salam Aleykum dear Brothers and Sisters.
Firstly I would recommend to all of you, who attacked the other verbally or used bad words, that even if you disagree, you should be calm and speak/write in a respectful manner.
Secondly, islam qa in my humble opinion is not a bad website. It gives clear evidences in most of their answers, not just their own opinion. However, as this website is also written by humans, they have some answers, wich I personally disgree with. Texts can be translated differently by each person, but this difference of opinion is not a problem most of the cases, it is just normal. In some cases there are two different answers, then you can A) follow the majority B) follow what you trully feel good in your heart (not your whims, but your heart), as intentions are one of the most important things, we will be judged upon. Once I noticed, that they posted hadiths only in a fatwa, which confirmed their opinion. Maybe it was beacuse they found the others as not strong evidences. However they are scholars, intent good, even if you disagree, dont attack them. Just Allah (swt) knows who is righ and who is wrong. I would recommend, like in the case when discussing whether niqab is obligatory or not, write in the google: niqab is obligatory, and niqab is not obligatory. You can find different texts too, and upon reading them, logically, and with pure mind, choose what you truly think is correct. Or choose a trustworthy scholar for yourself, and then follow his answers.
Thirdly, I do agree with the one who wrote this post, that there are some answers which disregard women, are much more strict, and harsh if a women sins, also can give more difficult/hard to follow fatwas to women, and this is probably beacuse, there are almost no famous women scholars nowadays, and those who give these answers and restrections do not have to follow them, live with them, simply because they are not women. This indicates the importance, to raise more female scholars. Some may think; Oh, no! No need!, or if agrees with the opinion that women are not as clever as men, think that they are not trustworthy.
A good and common example is Aisha (ra), and other respected women of the Sahabah. There is no mental difference between genders, just between each person. There are women who are more intelligent than most of the men, and vice versa. Find the middle path. Dont be arrogant because you are a male/female. Search for answers, and learn not just the things you agree with. Look at the other side too, sometimes.
As once said: take what is good ( from a scholar ), and leave what is bad. Again, I would highlight, that not just follow your desires, but what you truly, ( be honest with yourself, no one can fool Allah (swt) ) feel right. Pray Itsikhara.
Astaghfirullah, if I said anything wrong.
Insha Allah, Allah (swt) will guide us on the straight path.

  22. This comment has been removed by the author.

  23. Also would like to add to my comment above, that in the clear duties, restrictions and commands of Allah(swt) and the Prophet(saw) we do not have a word, and can not disagree with.

  24. Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah.
Your opinion is not correct at all. I fear that you are trying to mislead people from taking them true way. Don't try in this way and be good. I also believe that your this sort of trying will not work and finally you will ashamed of your bad works.

  25. I agree that some things on that site is suspicious. However the benefit is that they often list various opinions on certain issues. One can also see when they are trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat. Anyways, this is a great example that scholars are not perfect and often their cultural biases show through.

I have heard plenty of stupidity from non-salafi Mufti's. In particular a few from South Africa who pass fatawa and provide no daleel.

  26. Brothers and sisters in Islam, Islamqa seems to be most authentic website, however, few misunderstanding and errors can be found, i.e. we are not allowed to settle in a non-Muslim country. But this is obvious, since none is perfect. Still, the website remains the most accurate. They provide
all madhabs opinions, not just one, meaning islamqa is much better that other fatwas websites. Do not try to create temptations. Hope that it is clear.

  27. and has all the answered only for those who read them again and again

  28. is best site for all muslims

  29. As salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakaatuh

To me, islamQA is a very reliable Islamic website for ppl who only believe in qaala Allah wa qaala rasuul bcos I've not seeing them giving an answer without evidence from d Quraan or from d sunnah

So t is now left to you to comprehensively understand d import of those evidences

And by d way,I think d author should go back and study his Islamic studies from ibtidaai cos he lacks Islamic akhlaaq for telling the SCHOLARS that they STUPIDLY ANSWER A QUESTION

    May Allah forgive us all
